Hidden up a narrow staircase in Sukhumvit 71, this five-story experiment blurs the line between cocktail lab, sustainability project, and late-night hang. Wasteland builds drinks around three themes: World (reimagined classics), Wild (foraged and local), and Waste (ingredients rescued and reborn). Espresso from used coffee grounds, cola made with cacao husks, and a Long Island iced tea rebooted with crab shells and citrus scraps. It’s ambitious, experimental, and somehow still inviting. The design tells the same story: bar shelves made from old refrigerators, coasters from crumbled drywall, every surface built from something saved. It’s not pretending to be sleek. It’s real. Raw.
